Onslow County Solid Waste is hosting a Residential Household Hazardous Waste Collection Day co-sponsored by Onslow County Sheriff’s Office, Onslow County Government, North Carolina Department of Agriculture and Consumer Services, and our N.C. Cooperative Extension of Onslow County office!

WHEN: Saturday, October 9th, 2021
9 a.m.–2 p.m.

WHERE: 415 Meadowview Rd.
Jacksonville, NC

The waste items being collected are paint and paint-related materials, pool chemicals, aerosols, household cleaners and chemicals, mercury thermostats, pesticides, and prescription drugs.


FEES

The regular household tipping fee applies, so it is $57/ton or $0.57 per every 20lbs.
Example: 0-20lbs = $.57, 21-40lbs = $1.14, and so on.
There is no charge for the pesticide disposal.
