Pesticide Disposal
Day November 19th, 2014

The Onslow County Extension Service will be hosting a Pesticide Disposal Day on November 19, 2014 at 4024 Richlands Highway, Jacksonville, NC from 10:00 a.m. - 2:00 p.m.   Collection setup will be behind the office. Bring your pesticides (Herbicides, insecticides, fungicides, and/or nematocides) for disposal FREE of charge! For liquid pesticide containers larger than 5 gallons or for unlabeled pesticides, please contact Melissa Huffman at the Onslow Extension Office (910-455-5873) for more information before bringing to the collection event.  No gas cylinders are accepted, however assistance information can be provided.

ATTENTION: High School Students in Onslow County, NC ..... Come join your local 4-H Robotics Club! High school student come together and under strict rules, limited resources, and time limits, are challenged to raise funds, design a team “brand,” hone teamwork skills, and build and program a robot to perform prescribed tasks against a field of competitors. This is all apart of the FIRST FRC Robotics Program. Scholarships are available to any graduating senior on the team as well.
