How to Enroll

4HOnline is a national, secure web-based system used to enroll all youth 4-H members, volunteers, club leaders and all Extension staff that work with youth in the North Carolina 4-H Youth Development Program.

4HOnline is designed so that each family has an online family profile and every youth has an individual profile under their family profile.

  • All youth participating in N.C. 4-H Programming need to have an individual youth profile in 4HOnline.
  • All adult volunteers, club leaders and Extension staff are properly screened through this system as well.

Volunteers

Volunteers are the keys to our success in the North Carolina 4-H program! Whether you’re interested in becoming a club leader, or just have a few hours to invest, we’ve got challenging and fun opportunities for adults and teens who want to make a difference.

Please check out the N.C. 4-H Volunteer Guide. This guide will share more information about the volunteer opportunities available to you.  Onslow County is currently seeking Traditional and SPIN Club Leaders as well as guest speakers for 4-H events.

Being a 4-H leader does require a background check through NC State University and some training.  If interested, please reach out to the Onslow County 4-H Agent, Tara Taylor.

ALUMNI

We know 4-H holds a special place in the hearts of 4-H alumni!  If you are a 4-H alumni that would like to participate in Onslow County events please reach out to us.  Alumni make excellent guest speakers, Advisory Council Members, and Judges for project records and competitions and especially 4-H club leaders.

If you are interested in becoming a 4-H Volunteer or would like to participate as a 4-H Alumni, please contact our Onslow County 4-H Agent, Tara Taylor, or our 4-H Program Assistant, John Osborne at 910-455-5873.
