Interested in making a donation? Here are some tips for what to look for:
  • When buying canned goods, look for items that do not require a can opener.
  • Avoid glass containers if possible.
  • Look for items low in sodium and high in fiber.
  • Would you eat it or feed it to your family? A good rule of thumb is to purchase healthy shelf stable items you would enjoy eating.
  • If allergen-free options are available, consider donating them, like gluten-free pastas or nut-free items.
