Homemade Pasta Workshop

Part of the “Stretch It, Save It, Store It” Series

Nothing says comfort like a bowl of homemade pasta and making it from scratch is easier (and more affordable) than many people realize. As part of the Stretch It, Save It, Store It series, Family & Consumer Sciences Agent Sarah Ware will host a Homemade Pasta Workshop that teaches participants how to turn basic pantry staples into a delicious, versatile meal.

During this hands on class, attendees will learn the fundamentals of pasta making, including dough preparation, rolling and shaping techniques, and safe drying and storage for long term use. Participants will also explore how homemade pasta can stretch a family’s food dollar while reducing waste and increasing meal variety.

“This class is about more than just noodles,” says Family & Consumer Sciences Agent Sarah Ware. “It’s about learning the kind of everyday kitchen skills that help families feel confident, save money, and create something truly satisfying from simple ingredients.”

Participants will make fresh pasta to take home, receive storage and cooking tips, and leave with recipes they can adapt for their own kitchens.

Workshop Details:
