This is an important day to recognize our farmers and the importance of agriculture in our world. In North Carolina, agriculture is such an integral part of who we are. Agriculture is North Carolinas biggest industry, generating over $103 billion each year. Additionally, NC agriculture employs 16% of the states workforce. Agriculture in NC not only fuels our bodies, but also our local economy!
