NC FarmLink website

NC FarmLink was recently featured in Tobacco Farm Quarterly. In the article, found on page 18, journalist, Lara Ivanitch provided an excellent overview of NC FarmLink detailing the role of the program, how it began, and why it is needed. According to Dr. Frank Louw, Head of the Department of Horticultural Science,

“I believe loss of farmland is a long-term threat to the vitality of our state, Urban health (with regard to open spaces and local food/farm products and experiences) and an infrastructure of state-based farmer knowledge.”
