From July 6 to July 10, 2020, we held our first virtual Junior Master Gardener® Camp!

Our Onslow County 4-H team, Master Gardener℠ volunteers of Onslow County, and our N.C. Cooperative Extension, Onslow County Center staff teamed up to make this virtual gardening camp happen!

We had OVER 30 participants!

During the JMG® camp we held daily Zoom sessions and discussed and provided activities based off of gardening topics such as:
  • Composting
  • Journal making
  • Propagation
  • Edible gardening
  • Wildlife

Here’s a sneak peek of the fun activities our participants enjoyed during the 2020 JMG Camp:
On our last day of camp Friday, July 10, we CELEBRATED and had a raffle for 4-H Swag!!
A special thanks to our Master Gardener℠ Volunteers of Onslow County! We couldn’t have done this without you!
A huge THANK YOU to the parents who have sent us content!
We are always looking forward to seeing your youth’s experiences with our events and activities!
