Join us for several Hofmann Open Water Laboratory (HOWL) events in Onslow! Be part of Citizen Science. Explore local streams and river critters. Have fun!! See HOWL Flyer Summer 2018 for dates and locations. All times are from 1:00-4:00 p.m.

CancelledSunday August 12:  HOWL will be held at Queens Creek bridge (Swansboro end of the bridge), Queens Crk Rd., Swansboro.

Sunday August 26:  HOWL will be held at the Turkey Point Rd. boat ramp, Sneads Ferry.

Sunday Sept. 9:  HOWL will be held at the kayak put-in at Cow Horn Landing, Cow Horn Rd., Richlands

Events are free; however, pre-registration is required. Call (910) 455-5873 to register for any or all of the HOWL events. The registration deadline is the Wednesday prior to the specific Sunday event.

The events are open to the public, ages 8 – adult. This is a parent and child activity, not a “drop-off” event. Bring water shoes or boots, a towel, water, and snack items.
