Onslow County Farm to Fork 2017

— Written By

The Onslow County Cooperative Extension and Onslow County Farm Bureau are hosting their annual Farm to Fork lunch. We will feature local foods at the peak of their season, harvested from Onslow County farms and sea.

Come on out and satisfy your soul with some mouth-watering Southern cuisine. Know that, while enjoying these delectable delights, you will also be supporting the farmers and youth agricultural educational programs of Onslow County. We will be serving a Low Country Boil, BBQ and lamb sliders, fried green tomatoes, and divine southern style desserts!

So bring your appetite, and support Onslow County Agriculture on July 8, 2017 at Mike’s Farm 1600 Haw Branch Rd., Beulaville, NC. The lunch will begin at 11:30 am. Tickets are limited. Please call (910) 455-5873 to purchase your tickets.

Melissa Huffman, Agricultural Extension Agent of Onslow County NC State Extension, brings her passion for farming to the youth of Onslow County:

“Through the efforts of Onslow County Extension and Onslow County Farm Bureau, we aim to inspire young people to connect with local agricultural development through youth agricultural educational programs.”
