Aquatic Pesticide Applicator Weed Class

Do you need aquatic pesticide applicator continuing education credit?  If yes, this class is for you!  A 2-hour class will be held on May 25 from 2:00 – 4:00 pm at the Craven County Extension Center office, located at 300 Industrial Drive, New Bern.  The class is approved for 2-hrs of A, N, D, and X credit.  The class topics are:

2:00 – 3:00 pm Aquatic Weed ID.  This includes typically encountered weeds and any that class attendees bring with them for the class.

3:00­ – 4:00 pm Aquatic Weed Control. This session includes typical chemical, biological, and environmental control measures to control aquatic weeds.

There is no fee for the class; however, preregistration is required.  Please contact Mike Carroll at (252) 633-1477 or by email at mike_carroll@ncsu.edu by May 23.  Several copies of the book Aquatic & Wetland Plants of South Carolina will be available for purchase at $17.50 each.
